FIVE QUESTIONS YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST ASK EVERY RUG CLEANER BEFORE TRUSTING THEM WITH YOUR RUGS

  1. Will my rug be cleaned in the same water as other contaminated rugs?

Natural Rug Care uses an artificial river to flush the contaminates from your rugs. This current pulls and drags all the contaminates out and away from your rugs and acts independently of all other rugs waiting to be cleaned. Think of it as an assembly line, rather than one pool that soaks many rugs simultaneously, leaving your rugs soaking in the unknown contaminates of everyone else’s.

Fun fact: hundreds of years ago it was common place for people to carry their rugs down to the river and float them in the current, as a way to clean them.. It’s this method that we simulate with our artificial river.

  2. How will you set the rug dyes so my rugs will not bleed?

All to often customers will bring us rugs that other cleaners have ruined by lack of color safe testing.

It’s so important that a color safe test be administered and if there is color migration, we apply a dye setting compound to the rug that prevents the colors from running into one another, and allows for a safe washing and a wonderful pop of color after it dries.

  3. Are your cleaning chemicals safe for wool?

There is a variety of solutions for any given issue that a rug may have; however, there are some things that will permanently damage your rugs.

The misuse of chemicals or even the amount of time they are allowed to be in contact with the rugs can forever alter the appearance of a rug or more deviously can deteriorate the rug faster over time.

It is so important that cleaning agents and trusted processed that are known to be safe with wool, cotton, & silk be used in the right steps and time, to clean your rugs.

  4. Are you going to use the same equipment used to clean carpet?

Take for instance a silk dress, cotton cardigan, or a wool sweater- would you simply throw these into a hot wash cycle and dump in some laundry detergent and hope for the best… Most likely not, you would hand wash them with a special detergent designed for the gentleness of the fabrics.

This is essentially what we do with your rugs, a specially designed process and cleaning agents to get the best clean possible without the risk of damage.

  5. Do you guarantee your work?
